Do you know what the Grand Louvre and Bank of China Tower have in common? They’re both world-famous architectural landmarks conceived by the same mastermind, I. M. Pei.
 
An internationally renowned architect of the 20th and 21st century, I. M. Pei’s distinctive work can be found all around the world’s urban skylines. In this first-ever retrospective of the legendary architect, mplusmuseum Special Exhibition “I. M. Pei: Life Is Architecture” showcases over 400 objects, many of which had never been exhibited before. The exhibition examines Pei’s distinctive practice, as well as the social, cultural, and biographical trajectories around the world. His transcultural vision laid the foundation for the contemporary world.
