Taking on the 2,700 mile hike across California, Oregon & Washington—weekend warrior edition 👩🏻‍💻👷🏽✌️

Our plan: 

Take on small portions of the famous #PCT, and SOMEDAY (when we’re 70+), we’ll have hiked the majority! 

This is called ‘section hiking’ VS ‘through hiking’…

So far—we’ve knocked off 20+ chunks throughout Southern & Northern California, and Washington State. 

📌 We have a huge map of the entire PCT, and we pin portions we accomplish, bit by bit. 

And yes, we’ve met amazing through hikers who’ve accomplished all 2,650 miles in one year 👏—but if you work full-time, you CAN experience gorgeous portions over long weekends —and still experience ‘some’ of the magic! 

TIP: we follow a group called ‘PCT Section Hikers’ on Facebook, and it’s been a great forum to learn about trail conditions, logistics, entry points, etc.

PS—we’re SO excited bc we just scored super hard to come by backpacking permits (over a holiday weekend👌), and it includes an epic portion of the PCT. Stay tuned!
