Fig Butter & Manchego Grilled Cheese 🧀 
AKA ~ FigAvo Grilled Cheese. I first had a grilled cheese just like this at a local bakery and I’ve been making every late summer/fall ever since. The rich sweet fig butter pairs so beautifully with the buttery flavor from the cheese & avocado combo. This is a MUST try this time of year. You can really use any jam of choice but fig is my priority with this one.

Two slices of thick bakery bread
Manchego cheese
Fig butter (jam)
Butter spread to fry the bread with
Avocado slices
~just load the jam on the bread, add slices of manchego or white cheddar and fry it up like you would a grilled cheese. Top it with avocado or you can stuff the avocado inside after cooking.
