Lee recognized she emotionally hurt a lot of people with her crimes. She said, “It’s really stressful thinking about the past, ‘cause it’s so far from where I am today. It’s quite disturbing actually. I think I, honestly, was a sociopath. I think I honestly didn’t care about anybody or anything.” She revealed that due to her Xanax and other drug use at the time, she still has "a lot of holes" in her story.⁠
