The conservatorship was put in place in 2004 when the former NFL star was 18 years old and living under the care of the Tuohys. The agreement granted the couple legal control over his finances, and allowed them to make business deals in his name. Oher is reportedly asking that they pay him his “fair share of profits” and “unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.”⁠
