SWAY vs. SHIFT:
SWAYing off the ball with lots of lateral motion can cause some contact issues. SHIFTing off the ball helps you load the back swing while you turn. Here’s a visual of the difference. Notice how the board tilts to the right (pressure shift) without tons of lateral motion. This is something you’ll see from lots of great ball strikers.
