Shifting your combined centre of mass (CoM) in the golf swing is a big power generating movement. The amounts and timings for specific shots are critical. Here I am demonstrating my feels for an iron shots, shifting and repositioning my CoM early to ensure I get a flow and balance of power while maintaining strike consistency.

I am using medial lateral force to move my CoM, pushing off my lead foot to start and then pushing away from my trail foot to reposition. 

Force precedes motion..
