The improved swing sequence of College player _jack__coleman_ 

After a bit of a break over Christmas, old movements crept into his swing. This is often the case when players have a little break. Don’t panic if this does happen to you, just know what your tendencies are and have a solid route back to them.

Jack has a tendency to roll it early in the backswing, get his hands too deep at left arm parallel, then his trail arm gets stuck behind his body (in too much internal rotation) and just doesn’t have enough time to get the arms back in front of the body. (Only one person on the 🌎 is good enough and talented enough to successfully do this matthew_wolff5 ) From here Jack then has to throw the club at the ball and struggles to stabilise the face.

Getting the club more on the hands halfway back and feeling the trail elbow tuck in (external shoulder rotation) on the second half of the backswing means he can squeeze the elbows together in transition, getting the aems in front of him whilst widening his arc and stabilise the face through impact!

As a coach, I supply the information and the student puts in the work! Well done Jack, proud of your determination to get better!
