Northwestern has landed former FAU tight end John Raine as a grad transfer. He will be eligible immediately.

Raine served primarily as a backup role to Mackey award winner (best TE in cfb award), Harrison Bryant at FAU. He did see a decent amount of playing time last year, catching 38 receptions for 6 TDs and 343 yds.

It also appears Raine will be the first Wildcat to wear the newly approved “0” as a jersey number 👀
