NORTHWESTERN WINS 24-14!!! DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE!!!The game was low-scoring and fairly even throughout the first three quarters at just 13-7 us. We capitalized on the gophers in quarter number four though and won by a score of 24-14.

Positives from the game:

DEFENSE- three turnovers, four sacks, and a lot of playmakers for us today such as Joe Gaziano (3 tackles, 1 sack, 1 fumble) and Nate Hall (2 INTS, 3 tackles, 1 assist)

Clayton Thorson- played solid, rushed for a TD, and threw for 230 yds (most since Nebraska game)

Negative:

Offensive Line- gave up multiple sacks and had trouble blocking Minnesota’s run defense
