## Caption

NORTHWESTERN BEATS IOWA AND BECOMES BIG TEN WEST CHAMPIONS!!!!!! WE HEADIN’ TO INDY BABY!!!! The game started off rough for us, as both sides of the ball couldn’t get anything going and the score became 3-0 Iowa at the half. We got our stuff together after the half though and pulled out the win at Iowa 14-10. I’m going to keep it short this time so here are a few positives/negatives from today:

Isaiah Bowser- OUTSTANDING. Had his best game of the year so far, rushing for 165 yds (5.3 yds avg!!!) and a TD as well against the #5 RUSHING DEFENSE IN THE COUNTRY!!! Way to step up as our back zaybowser25

DEFENSE- Showed up for us today and carried us to the win. Our run defense is AMAZING. We limited Iowa’s starting back Sargent to just 27 yds and had countless TFL. But most importantly we had TWO forced fumbles in the 4th quarter which came up SUPER CLUTCH, especially the second one which put us in position to win the game.

Negatives:

Clayton Thorson- While he did throw for a TD this game and has some good throws, Thorson NEEDS to stay more consistent. He threw for multiple interceptions today (2), which has been a common occurrence for him this season. He needs to step it up for the Big Ten Championship.
