WEEK # 3 OF 2018 SEASON: NORTHWESTERN WINS 34-14 (3-0) I think we will have this game in the bag, as we have performed fairly well against non-conference teams in the past few years. Akron went 7-7 last year, including a 52-0 shutout by Penn State, two 27 point deficit games, as well as a 50-3 blowout by Florida Atlantic in the Boca Raton Bowl. Unless they’ve made massive improvements this offseason, we will beat them by a solid amount.
