The hush feature of most alarms provides the capability of temporarily desensitizing the #smokealarm circuit for up to 10 minutes. This feature is to be used only when a known #alarm condition, such as smoke from cooking, activates the alarm. / La fonction "hush" a la capacité de désensibiliser temporairement le circuit de l’#avertisseur pendant environ 10 minutes. On ne doit utiliser cette fonction que quand une condition d’alarme connue comme la fumée de cuisson, a déclenché l’#alarme.
