With the guidance of art teacher Ms. O’Leary and performing arts dir. Mr. Eiras, SHP studio art students had a “once in a lifetime experience" learning how to add an extra layer of texture and dimension to the set of Eurydice (play opens tonight!) with sponge paint. Mr. E said it would take two weeks for him to do what they accomplished in one morning, noting the “25 foot rule in theater,” meaning the set only needs to look good from 25 feet away where the first row of the audience sits.
