Preschoolers through eighth graders laid flowers around the statue of the Blessed Virgin at our annual May Crowning Ceremony today, a decades-long tradition at SHS. Students honored Mother Mary through music, singing, and a prayer service coordinated by third graders, who shared personal reflections on Mary’s presence in their lives. “Mary is a model for me of how I should be and act, she is an angel who brings peace to the world.” #SHSAtherton #SHSMayCrowning #SHSbeautifulpast
