## Caption

“I walk with pride for all the younger versions of myself who couldn’t have imagined the life I live now. For the versions of me who were scared I would never be able to dress the way I want, act the way I do, feel comfortable in who I am, or find love and support for my true self. Today, I feel at home in my body, confident and empowered to shine as myself. I walk with pride for the girl who never thought she would have the confidence or voice, and for everyone who doesn’t believe they can feel the same. I walk with pride for all the people who came before me and fought so that I can live the way I do. Trans is joy. Trans is love. Trans is beautiful, and I walk with pride to show the world trans beauty.” - Meredith
