Smiling through rehab ✌️

It’s the final day of the first 6 weeks of my recovery post-op today.
-
Tomorrow I’ll begin taking wedges out of my boot and very slowly start loading this pissweak right leg up again.
-
The atrophy to my calf & upper leg is very disturbing (will take pictures soon) but the scar has healed so much faster than I’d anticipated & is barely visible now. Huge credit to my surgeon, and all the drugs I’ve been taking.

It’s been boring AF and tough to not want to speed up this process by doing movements and strengthening exercises but that’s exactly what would fuck up a recovering tendon at this stage.
