Holy shit if that doesn’t feel good. - To put that in perspective, MW did more plays in July than in the first 18 months it existed. - If you’re concerned about looking shit when you start something, don’t. Everyone looks shit when they start something. I can’t bare to listen to episodes from 6 months ago, never mind the beginning. That’s what happens when you improve at your craft. - “It takes 10 years to become an overnight success.” - I’m no longer just interested in this show becoming the best in Europe, I’m committed. - I made the internal decision to “Turn Pro” recently (cc steven_pressfield) and that’s changed a lot of my mindset. You should read the book if you want to take your approach around any creative output to the next level. - “Amateurs play for fun, professionals play for keeps.” - There’s going to be critics and setbacks and fears whenever you put anything out into the world and that inevitably scales when you do a million of anything within a month. - “So you’re taking a few blows.
