Before seeking cleverness, focus on avoiding stupidity.

Most problems in life come from an unseen error, not insufficient brilliance.

An unplanned pregnancy happens due to the unseen error of unprotected sex, not the lack of brilliance in a bad blowjob technique.

Your progress can be halted by a single bottleneck decision. This decision is an existential threat to certain areas of your life. It can put an end to your future along that path.

If you take 40,000, multiply it by 32, add 105,000,000 and multiply that final number by 0… you get 0.

The point here is that no matter how much work comes before, if you have a massive failure in one key area, it can negate great efforts in all over areas.

Avoid stupidity before seeking brilliance.

Never multiply by zero.

Fixing the “zero” has a much greater effect on your outcomes than does trying to enlarge the other areas.

For instance, you can look after your fitness, diet & training all you want and be a sterling picture of health - but if you drive without a seatbelt on and die in a car crash, you’re at zero.

The vast majority of people are doing the bare minimum to get by.

You don’t need brilliance to stand out from the crowd, just an avoidance of unforced errors.

You will come up against all sorts of challenges in life, setbacks, attempts at sabotage.

Your primary goal should be to ensure that amongst the myriad of characters who spray your life with misfortune, yourself should not be among them.
