Cellist Timothy Holley takes the stage for our ArtsNOW Series on Wednesday, Jan. 22, performing works by two African-American composers, Adolphus Hailstork and Trevor Weston. Holley, a proponent of new music, has collaborated with the Mallarmé Chamber Players and the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra since 1997. Join us in Thompson Hall's Kennedy-McIlwee Studio Theatre for an evening that will also feature a tribute to the late NC State poet Gerald Barrax, along with electroacoustic works and works for voice. $5 for students, $10 for faculty/seniors, $12 general admission. .
