alumni, so we’d like all of you to get to know them!

FAVORITE NU MEMORY:
Spring break training for NCAA Championships, when we got to train, spend time with teammates, and enjoy
Evanston & Chicago without the stress of school, work, or internships. Coaches got us food brought to
Patten every day and we had team dinners every night at local restaurants,  we even took a team field trip to
the Shedd Aquarium!

WHERE ARE YOU NOW:
Royal Oak, Michigan. Fencing coach at Renaissance Fencing Club and Wayne State University

WORDS OF ADVICE:
Take the time to enjoy where you are, rather than thinking so much about the future. I definitely spent a lot of
time and energy at NU worrying about internships and networking and my future...in an industry I'm not even
working in just a few years later. Yes, do the work to set yourself up for success, but don't stress so much
about the future. Enjoy where you are right now, because it's pretty great.
