MWSBL x David Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute
 
In partnership with David Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute, we hosted a 7-week basketball program for young female athletes while also enlightening them on career opportunities that are available both in the sport and in academia. 

A big thank you to Coach Melissa (phd_mel) for her commitment to empowering the next generation of hoopers & scholars. 

With the support of David Mary Thomson and Neighbourhood Scholar (nhscholar), we were able to help the young female student athletes develop their basketball skills and confidence in a safe space catered to them.
