It's the last #MiracleMonday before Dance Marathon registration closes! Register now at go.osu.edu/BT. Today we're featuring Gaven's story. 
Gaven was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 8 years old. The day before the diagnosis, his parents had noticed an unusual bruise on his back so they made a trip to his pediatrician. Just 24 hours later, Gaven and his family found themselves in the emergency room beginning chemotherapy. His treatment lasted 3.5 years. After the diagnosis, his family’s life completely changed; everything revolved around hospital stays, clinic visits with chemo, daily chemo pills, spinal taps, cranial radiation and countless drugs and procedures. On Oct. 17, 2014 Gaven rang the bell at Nationwide Children’s Hospital signifying the end of his treatment. While it was a grueling journey filled with many ups and downs, Gaven has always remained positive and keeps hoping for the day a cure is found! Currently, Gaven is 12 years old and loves baseball, video games, and playing the drums. #OSUFTK
