ME AND MY PLANNER (#bohoberrychallenge):
This year I decided to try and start bullet journaling. Being that writing, journaling, drawing, and planning are all habits that I used to enjoy taking part in each day, I've been trying to find a way to rekindle those habits to increase my overall productivity, mindfulness, accountability and happiness with each day. After months of swooning over other people's bullet journals and pinning my life away on Pinterest, when I moved to #Houston in May I visited dromgoolespens and bought my first #leuchtturm1917 notebook to start my #bulletjournal journey. Due to the fact that I have a wretched OCD when it comes to my handwriting and notebooks, I waited until June to start writing to give myself done time to plan out how I wanted to do it all. From June to October, I tried my hand at practicing the habit regularly, but it just wasn’t coming to me naturally anymore. I have come to the conclusion that when I put down my pen/pencil for creative purposes, I picked up technology, and because I’d gotten so used to relying on my electronics I never had to concern myself with writing as much. I realized that in order to make bullet journaling work for me, I needed to give a way to bridge both of these mediums that I desperately needed and heavily relied upon. After a couple more months of planning and researching, I got the inspiration to use trelloapp as a digital bullet journal to help me populate my physical journal and vice versa. With November 1st being #internationalprojectmanagementday, I thought it was only fitting to share how I will be taking on the challenge of managing my life with my new, adapted #bujo system using Trello. -------------------------- I will also be participating in #NaBloPoMo (Nationak Bkog Posting Month) with a special blog series releasing my 100-page autobiography that I wrote my senior year in high school ( with edits if course 😁).
