maya Gabeira from #Brazil and bodyboard athlete joana_schenker from #Portugal joined this week's #UnitedNations Ocean Conference in Lisbon. 

The two world champions joined climate influencers, activists and world leaders committed to finding solutions to #SaveOurOcean. 

"If we all #ActNow for the ocean, we can make massive changes," stressed Maya Gabeira, who was designated new UNESCO Champion for the Ocean and Youth.

"Everything I am, I owe it to the ocean," said Joana Schenker, who explained that she visits schools to encourage children to become ocean activists. "We do beach clean-ups and everything we can to help the ocean."
