#Flashback to 1972 when the #UnitedNations Conference on the Human Environment met in Stockholm, #Sweden, kicking off the #ClimateAction movement. 

This week, governments, civil society, young people and the private sector are meeting at #Stockholm50 to help accelerate momentum for a healthy planet and prosperity for all. 

"Unless we act now, we will not have a livable planet," UN Secretary-General antonioguterres stressed at the conference opening. 

"I urge countries to embrace the human right to a clean, healthy environment for all people, everywhere – especially poor communities; women and girls; indigenous peoples; young people and the generations to come.

If we want to survive and thrive, let us protect and nurture our planet, which is our only home,"
