Last year, 117 women & men of unpeacekeeping lost their lives while serving the cause of peace.

Ahead of #UnitedNations Peacekeepers' Day, I laid a wreath at the Peacekeepers Memorial at UN Headquarters in #NYC to honour their memory and pay tribute to the service & sacrifice of all fallen peacekeepers.

They paid the ultimate price while protecting the world’s most vulnerable people.

We will never forget them.
