Challenge accepted occ_baseball !! This month is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the #iNEGUchallenge ! This challenge is especially close to our team because it was one that our beloved baseball coach, John Altobelli, and friend to OCC Women’s Basketball, Kobe Bryant, participated in annually, as he was a strong advocate for the NEGU organization. NEGU stands for Never Ever Give Up and is an organization that spreads joy and helps kids fight cancer. This year they are doing 3 different challenges which can all be found on the teamnegu page. 

This is the Hands Challenge. It’s 4 simple steps to help kids fighting cancer: 

1) write “I” on your right hand and “NEGU” on your left 

2) take a picture showing your hands

3) hashtag #iNEGUchallenge and #iNEGUdoyou

4) tag 5 friends

Now let’s see those hands!!
