A new conscript for a #Conlang joins the language families of my world! This time, the Norse-inspired language of Saegen appears! The sister languae to Nouveau Thuillean, Saegen is also a simplication of the runes used to cast Northern Magic. Saegen writing used to be a logography like Chinese but, in the last 400 years or so, it has been reduced to a simpler alphabet for signs, historical record, and tax-collection purposes. It's vertical and very straight because was traditionally carved into wood but painted versions and curved lines are starting to creep back into the language.
