This is literally a conversation in my DMs today where a potential client who saw my work on IG resonated so much with our style reached out about booking a pre wedding couple shoot💫

Did I book the client? 
Yes❤️

But more importantly, did I acknowledge her request and make her feel comfortable knowing I am okay with not posting her portraits on my page? 
Yes💫💫💫

And this is what counts my friends (in my opinion)❤️

It takes A LOT to grow your business and get seen in a sea of competition, especially on IG where we are bombarded by content daily💫

But did I let my client’s needs stop me from working with her? No

Because it isn’t about me at the end of the day…this is not a portrait shoot booked for MY business..this is an important milestone in her life that she wants to keep private…and to me, that’s okay and I respect that. This is a service based business to me so I want to see my clients happy at the end of the day, and this type of energy radiates❤️

Since I regularly do my own styled shoots and also work with a lot of clients who LOVE being all over my social media, I don’t need to share every single session we shoot on our page💫

It’s all about finding balance and shifting your perspective…changing that narrative from a victim mentality of “man no one lets me post their wedding and how am I supposed to get clients” to…

let’s get creative and take artistic portraits where some level of privacy remains, create our own styled shoots and start to attract a range of dreamy clients that get hyped when we post sneak peeks…💫💫💫

Because friends, those clients are out there too!❤️
