Have you always dreamt of starting your day with a stroll on the beach? Enjoying your morning cup of coffee staring out at the waves and taking a midday dip in the ocean? If owning property on the coast seems far-fetched (or downright impossible), we’re here to tell you it’s not.

Setting spots like Miami and San Francisco aside, we scoured Zillow to find 11 US beach towns with the lowest property prices right now. If you’re looking for a slow-paced, family-friendly vibe, check out idyllic neighborhoods like Cherry Grove, in the non-touristy Northern side of Myrtle Beach. Or, settle down on the white-sand beaches of Swansboro, North Carolina, where you’ll get the perks of being in proximity to the Outer Banks without the price tag. On the West Coast, skip the famed Cannon Beach for a scenic shoreline farther south in Coos Bay, Oregon, surrounded by miles of hiking trails and sand dunes. Looking for a surfer’s paradise? Try Crescent City, California, a sleepy hideaway with vintage lighthouses, coffee shops, and breweries, that will make you feel like you’re living in a Nicholas Sparks novel set on the West Coast.

Have you visited any of these coastal towns? And if so, would you consider moving there for good? If living by the beach is something you’ve always wanted to do, tap our link in bio for the full list.
