That’s what ‘they’ say.
For me, it’s:
‘I’ve never felt a RESPONSIBILITY like this.’

I look at her and I want to do more; to be more.
Every day, I stare at her with tears in my eyes and promise her I will do my best, for her.
I admit to her that I really don’t know wtf I’m doing as a ‘Mom’, but that I am trying my very hardest, for her.

Now, more than ever, I want to be a role model.
I want to show her how to work hard & go after the things she wants.
I want to be an example to her of always doing the right thing and not the easy thing.
I never want her to let someone else’s opinion of her define her own, so I vow to not let anyone else’s define mine.
She will know how to celebrate and support other women because I will show her how.
And, she will see first hand that things mean more when they’re earned and not given.

I never knew two little eyes had such power, but here I am, the girl that didn’t slow down for anything or anyone, at 11:40 on a Saturday morning, still in my PJ’s, holding & staring at my baby-girl telling her sleeping face how beautiful, strong, smart and talented she is & repeating to her over and over that she can do and become whatever and whoever she wants.
