This week I was sent the coolest gift I have EVER been sent.
It’s a gift that should be given to EVERY female athlete, no matter her age; no matter her sport.
It’s a gift that put immediate goosebumps all over my body and left me inspired to do more & be more for girls everywhere.
.
My friend, hellochristinrose of sheplayswewin spent 4 years capturing the raw emotion & power that girls feel when they play sport.
She traversed the country photographing girls doing what they love- from playing basketball, soccer or softball to golfing, running, skateboarding or surfing- even barrel racers, off-road drivers, roller hockey players - and she created the most beautiful book I have EVER seen.
Even my very own catchers have 3 of their own pages!
Girls are documented with their fierce gazes & huge smiles- they’re quoted sharing how sport makes them feel empowered.
And, most importantly, they’re CELEBRATED, as they should be.
.
ALL proceeds of this book go to the womenssportsfoundation - a charity that allows for more girls to get involved with sports.
.
Christin, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for creating this piece of art.
Thank you for including me in your work.
Thank you for gifting me the most special object that will live in Rudi’s Room as a daily reminder that she can become ANYTHING she wants.
Thank you for being you.
.
Tap this picture and head to sheplayswewin to grab your copy. I promise it will be your favorite package ever. I seriously want to gift it to everyone I know. And remember, when she plays, WE ALL WIN.
