Posting this sneak peek so I quit bugging bebesbymcco for the entire gallery.
At this rate, she may never photograph me again.

I can’t believe this little baby is MY daughter.
Like, she grew in MY belly.
And, she is calm & mellow & doesn’t cry or scream?
(I better not be jinxing myself).
And, she sleeps!
(Again, better not be jinxing myself).
She’s 100x more mature than me.
I don’t have the patience she has at 3 weeks old and I’m 34.
I don’t know whether to be proud or embarrassed to have a daughter who’s way cooler & more popular than me.
.
Right now, I’m doing my best to enjoy these quiet moments, knowing very well that if she’s this good, this young, her teenager (or three-nager) years are about to be one wild ride.
.
Being less than a month into my ‘mom-journey’ I don’t feel I’ve earned the right to offer up advice, but I’ll say one thing that’s been true for me:
The moment your child is born, everything you do becomes heavier.
People would say “just wait until you have your baby, maybe you’ll want to work less”.. HA! For me, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Now, everything I do means MORE.
It means more because she’s watching; she’s learning.
Every choice I make; every action I take; everything I do, impacts HER life.
And, there’s nothing more amazing, and scary, than that.

Rudi girl, I hope you’re ready for this adventure called life.
Buckle up girlfriend, your Mom is nuts.
