Freshman Marissa Young (4-4) tossed a complete-game shutout as the Tigers swept the season series from the Hornets at Bill Simoni Field. Young struck out a career-high five batters over her seven innings of work, surrendering just three hits. 
Young's complete game blanking is the first for a Pacific freshman since Dani Bonnet tossed a five-inning shutout against Cal State Fullerton on April 14th, 2012 at Bill Simoni Field, just over three years to the day before tonight's effort. #RoarTyges #209TT #rope2015
