“I view my work as an editing process of history—bringing up topics that may not have received due process and working them out. Moving forward, I want to gain a solid set of fundamentals with graphic design so I can create work that is both innovative as well as viewer-friendly.”

Vincent Williams arennyy (Stevenson) uses graphic design, sculptural installations, collage, and photography to comment on the history of black identity both in the United States and in Western art. He is a 2018 Irwin Scholar and will be attending the prestigious California Institute of the Arts for graduate school.
