last year at training camp, a friend’s daughter told me she had never thought that being an NHL/AHL level hockey coach was possible for her to achieve until she saw soupy08 out on the ice.

days like today remind me of how grateful I am to work somewhere that not only rewards hard work and talent but also cares about inspiring the next generation. Jess may be the first female assistant coach in the nhl but she won’t be the last.
