This #WLFEOWednesday our amazing sister, Alex (AC ‘21) has a very special #SisterhoodShoutout for her BFF, Micayla!! Alex and Micayla have been friends for 10+ years. From soccer teammates to sisters, Micayla and Alex’s friendship is strong, supportive, and admirable to us all. To celebrate their amazing friendship, Alex wrote a (surprise!!) note to Micayla: 🤩🥰

On their friendship, Alex said, “Not everyone gets to say that their childhood teammate and friend is now their sister. Micayla is one of the most genuine, passionate, and intelligent women I know. When I decided to transfer to Vanderbilt last May, Micayla was one of the first to reach out to welcome me to Vandy. I am so grateful that we were able to reconnect before my arrival because I wouldn’t have made it through my first year at Vandy without her. 💛💛💛

From lunch dates to being each other’s Starbucks enabler, Micayla is a gift to have as a friend, mentor, and sister. This year we will only be one room away from each other and I cannot wait for the chaos and memories that will create. There is not enough pi love in the world for a person like Micayla Cochran.” ☺️💕
