First photo is of me a few weeks before my amputation and the second is of me running stage 2 of transrockiesrun_official and making my way up Hope Pass in Colorado (12600ft gain) on a prosthetic.  I never imagine when I lost my leg that one day I would be running mountains. So many times I've been told that as an amputee I shouldn't run trails, because what if you fall? Or amputees aren't meant to run as far as you do. When I finished TransRockies I actually had a few people say to me that they didn't think I would finish it. I'm not sure if that should be taken as a compliment or an insult, hahaha. I'm definitely redefining my impossible everyday and it has been so much fun showing people that having a disability doesn't need to stop you from achieving your dreams. #noexcuses
