#transformationtuesday and I can't believe how far I've come in only 6 months. The first photo was taken just before the start of my 40 miler in October. I remember feeling so incredibly nervous and feeling totally out of my comfort zone. The race didn't go totally as planned but I finished and I remember being so incredibly happy for finishing. Six months later and I took on my my first 50 miler at the #umstead100.  I was definitely better prepared for this race. I had better tread on my blade to give me grip and I made sure I ran as many hills as I could during the training cycle.  My hardwork definitely paid off and I took an amazing 2 hours off my previous 40 mile time.  My goal is to run a sub 10hrs for my 50 miler.  My finish time at umstead 100 was 12hr13, so I have some work ahead but I definitely think it is achievable. .
