#transformationtuesday and I'm so proud of this one. When I started running 2 years ago I started with 5ks and then increased the distance to half marathons and to be honest, I thought half marathons would be as far as I would run.  Then one day I thought, let me try a marathon to see how my blade would handle the distance. I found the Marathon so hard and you can see in the the photo on the left, which was at the finish line of Chicago. I wasn't happy. I was super tired, everything was cramping and I could barely hold up the medal. Fast forward a year and I found the place I belong, trail running and ultramarathons. 
I never thought trail running would be possible on a blade and I was so super excited when I managed it. Everyone thought I was crazy signing up for an ultra and I still can't believe I did it.  The second photo is at triple_lakes_trail_race 40 Miler (64km) and this photo was taken at Mile 26.2 and I'm smiling and it's a real smile. I was genuinely happy. I still had one more round to do but I was over half way and I was loving every minute of it, even with the knee pain and the bum shuffles😉  I can't wait to run my next trail ultra which is in April, a 50 Miler😊. #ultrarunner #trailrunner #findyourdirt
