Why is it so easy to compliment others, yet so difficult to say the same thing about ourselves?

I was asked by momentumjewelry to join their campaign #beYOUtiful and to be honest, I found it really hard to find a word to fill in to describe myself. I find it really hard to compliment myself.  I chose determined. "I am determined" because deep down I believe in myself and determined to live the best life that I can. .
