3 weeks until my first Ultra Marathon. I can't believe a year ago this exact week I was getting ready for my first Marathon, The Chicago Marathon.  A year on and I'm getting ready to take on my first 40 Miler/64km, what was I thinking?😂. Just kidding😉. I'm feeling stronger physically and mentally going into this ultra and my only goal with the first one is to finish it.  It feels strange not having a goal time but I've got no idea how my blade will react to the distance, especially because it's trail. I'm just going to take it one step at a time and enjoy every minute of it. .
