The first photo is of me on vacation just before my amputation. Yes, I had two legs at one point. The second photo of me also on vacation, with a prosthetic leg and making the best of the life I've got.  Life doesn't always go as planned and sometimes bad things happen but you  survive and become a stronger person because of it.  I'm training for my first ultra, something I wouldn't even have considered when I had two legs. .
