A #throwback to last Sundays run with Eliza. A little thumbs up from her on the run😉. She ran her longest run. 1.5 miles💪. Yes this distance isn't a big deal for most of us but for Eliza (a 5 year old) it was huge.  Eliza and I started our little #sundayrun tradition last year. She said to me one morning, "mommy I want to run with you" and so we did. Every Sunday we run 1 mile. I've never pushed her on pace or distance and have always let her decide how far she wants to go. I really believe running should be fun and you go as far as you want to. 
I want her to want to keep running and not run because I say she has too. So every Sunday we go out and we stop at a mile. I knew at some point she would decide on her own terms that she's ready to go further.  Sunday when we started running, she whispered to me "mommy can we go a little further today" and naturally I smiled and said, "yes absolutely". She smiled all the way and crushed that extra distance.
