## Caption

When I was 12, I called a local ice rink to ask about joining a hockey team. (Nevermind the fact that I could not skate.... minor details. I just wanted to PLAY.) I was told there were no teams for me. "Girls don't play hockey". Well,  I'm happy to say that times have changed and someone wised up ........because girls DO play. 
The Birmingham-Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks came away with the win last night over Grosse Pointe South. Way to go, girls!
