Congratulations to UofM & Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law Alumna, Judge Bernice B. Donald, for being recognized as a 2024 Distinguished Service honoree by NELA (National Employment Lawyers Association)!

Fun Fact: Judge Bernice was the FIRST African America woman to serve as a Judge in the state of TN and then went on to be the FIRST African American woman to serve as a U.S. Bankruptcy judge!
