We’ve seen accountability applied with yesterday’s verdict, but this is far from over. Derek Chauvin could walk the streets of this country again one day, when George Floyd never will.   
 
We still live in a world where Black and Brown people have to live in fear of those who are sworn to protect them, and the consequences of these interactions are drastically different for the two parties. 
 
“Painfully earned justice.” It is a step in the right direction, that came at the cost of George Floyd’s life. Continue to demand answers... continue to demand accountability... and continue to demand the right to LIFE. There’s no end date to this timeline, and I refuse to become fatigued in the pursuit of the right to LIFE. Don’t lose sight of why we are in this fight. #JUSTICEFORGEORGEFLOYD
