Freestanding tub vs built in, what would you choose? We love installing both, but here are a few things you should know when making that decision:

- If going with a cast iron tub in a new location, make sure to confirm your floor joists will support the weight of it properly.

- Built in tubs are great for making them blend in with a room since you can install finish the top and sides seamlessly with stone or tile. 

- A good reminder: built in tubs need to be framed in!
