Introducing Gisela Martí (📸), a Graphic Designer in Dorna Sports' Brand Identity team 👩‍🎨

Gisela's career journey began in 2013 when she completed her Graphic Design and Photography studies in Tarragona and began working within the graphic design industry. Passionate about all aspects of graphic design, Gisela would always seek opportunities to further develop, including completing short courses.

"These disciplines define me; I feel part of them."

After five years, Gisela wanted to begin specialising in branding and so decided to return to education and embark on a postgraduate degree in Brand Design. Finishing in 2019, Gisela would work as a Web and Graphic Designer at an agency and the organic supermarket Veritas before finally making the move into the motorsport industry in 2021 🏁 

"After 10 years of my career, I have been able to learn from a lot of different companies and from incredible colleagues. This human part of the work is, for me, the most valuable."

Joining the new Brand Identity team in Dorna Sports' marketing department, Gisela works with her team and beyond to define and create branded visual assets for all MotoGP race circuits across the year. She is also responsible for engaging with the circuits and ensuring their designs meet brand guidelines. Therefore, if you've attended a race in the past two seasons and seen the likes of the official MotoGP™ poster, Official Programme cover, or a pit box design, you've likely seen Gisela's work! 🏍️

"We always work in synergy…to get this sport ahead and ensure we're always thinking about what the fans deserve."

With such strong experience and passion for graphic design and branding, Gisela is an excellent role model for women already into their careers, with a developed skillset, who are just now beginning to explore the career opportunities in motorsport. It is never too late to fall in love with the sport and find the place in it for you! 💜
